THE IB\u00c9RICO SENSE NOTABLE AT CANNES FESTIVAL<\/h2>\n

The campaign \u201cJamones Ib\u00e9ricos from Spain, Ambassadors of Europe in the World\u201d<\/strong>, promoted by ASICI and the EU, begins a successful relationship with the Cannes International Film Festival<\/strong>; one of the most important events in the film industry.<\/p>\n

In May 2022<\/strong>, Jamones Ib\u00e9ricos had a notable presence at the festival as an official sponsor of \u201cThe Members Club\u201d (TMC)<\/strong>, an exclusive space and one of the most important meeting points of the film industry in Cannes. Here, producers, actors, celebrities, directors, distributors, and industry professionals gather, and we offered them product tastings as well as campaign merchandise.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the stand located in a strategic area, attendees were able to enjoy the taste<\/strong>, aroma, <\/strong>and texture<\/strong> of Jamones Ib\u00e9ricos from Spain<\/strong>, as well as awaken their Ib\u00e9rico Sense<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

These promotional activities and tastings also took place in the \u201cDeadline Studio\u201d<\/strong> area, created by the prestigious American film publication Deadline. <\/strong>It is a private and exclusive lounge located in the heart of the festival, where figures from the film world <\/strong>were able to enjoy our Jamones Ib\u00e9ricos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We also presented the \u201cIb\u00e9rico Ham Award\u201d,<\/strong> a lifetime honorary recognition, which went to Director Jer\u00f4me Paillard<\/strong> for his long and successful professional career.<\/p>\n

In his own words: \u201cMy relationship with Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico has been going on for a long time. I visit San Sebastian every year and always try to order a plate of Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico. Like any good foodie, I enjoy Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico. It\u2019s the best award I can receive; it\u2019s fantastic recognition\u201d, said J\u00e9r\u00f3me Paillard, after receiving the spectacular Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico from the hands of ASICI Chairman Antonio Prieto.<\/p>\n

According to Antonio Prieto,<\/strong> \u201cJam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico, like cinema, maintains a close link with the culture and tradition of an entire people. It tries to tell a story through taste and aroma. Our relationship with cinema began 8 years ago with the San Sebastian International Film Festival. Now, we have teamed up with one of the most important film festivals in the world, the Cannes Film Festival, to close the circle and keep the connection between cinema and Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico alive, an emblematic product from our culinary universe.\u201d<\/p>\n

The campaign continues to awaken the Ib\u00e9rico Sense<\/strong> among lovers of the big screen.<\/strong><\/p>\n
