6 October 2021<\/strong> marked the World Presentation Event of the most important campaign launched by the Ib\u00e9rico sector<\/strong> in its history: \u201cJamones Ib\u00e9ricos from Spain, Ambassadors for Europe in the world. Awaken your Ib\u00e9rico Sense.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event, held in the auditorium of the Casa de Am\u00e9rica in Madrid and hosted by the presenter and journalist Alba Lago, was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas<\/strong>, together with Antonio Prieto, President of ASICI<\/strong>, and the chef ambassadors of the campaign<\/strong>: from Spain, Mario Sandoval<\/strong>; from Germany, Christian Sturm-Willms<\/strong>; from France, Amandine Chaignot<\/strong>; from Mexico, Carlos Gayt\u00e1n<\/strong>; and from China, Vicky Cheng<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Within the framework of this innovative global project, a series of strategic, ground-breaking and impressive measures will be used to encourage the whole world to awaken its \u201cSentido Ib\u00e9rico\u201d and enjoy the unmistakable flavour of this iconic food. The initiative aims to win over more than 300 million consumers and professionals across 5 countries and 3 continents: Spain, France, Germany, Mexico and China.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To embrace our Ib\u00e9rico side, the Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico chef ambassadors, authentic international references in haute cuisine, showcased avant-garde dishes with Jam\u00f3n Ib\u00e9rico as the most important main ingredient. These exclusive proposals will be integrated into the menus of their popular restaurants.<\/strong><\/p>\n
